Richard AustinWayne Phillips started his career working on Dallas (see web page at www.rickphillips.net) the series as an extra and a wrangler, being on the high school rodeo team, this gave him lots of opportunity to be a part of the show on a long term bases. Throughout his career he has worked on several other series;
including a dozen of independent and professional movies under his belt. This experience has inspired him to take special training from Dallas Community Television to achieve his directors license and also direct his first cable T.V. Show; Dallas Country Nights. Austin Wayne also created, produced and directed several Music videos as well as training videos for several corporations’. Finally he decided to create his first full-length movie with a very small budget just to see what he could do, and you can see the result at www.bobbyspeaking.com. The main credit he equates to his directing aspirations is from Michael Preece; Mr. Preece directed numerous Walker TX Ranger episodes as well as Bay Watch. Michael worked with Austin on several episodes giving him special training in what to look for in a movie and just what a Director should try to archive. Austin Wayne has several new scripts working at this time, he has also gained distribution on his next feature and well as several letters of intent to act buy well-known actors (he would not tell us who). Mr. Wayne. A young director but yet he is willing to take the special chances that it takes to achieve the final goal, working with all aspects of the industry from grip to producing, living from Dallas to Los Angeles, AustinWayne has a good grip on the hard times ahead of him. |
